Do Not Think!

I want to understand everything

God, Humanity and Myself

But whenever I begin to think,

something arises within me

screams in my consciousness

Do not Think!

You will stray if you think

You will be called ill mannered

They say:

Drowning will become your destiny

Is my brain too fragile to absorb thought?

Or it is incapable of thinking at all?

If thinking leads to chaos,
Then why were we given the ability to think?

And if thought leads us astray,
Who placed this power inside us?

Is this conflict,
This diverging from norms
A punishment for thinking?

Is it the cost of consciousness,
The price of being human?

Is it a choice
Or the price of rejection?
